The
Final Great Exodus

"Do not think that I have
come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish
them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and
earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least
stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from
the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone
who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches
others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven,
but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called
great in the kingdom of heaven." (Mt 5:17-19)
"
Thus says the LORD, 'Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool.
Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is
a place that I may rest? For My hand made all these things, thus
all these things came into being,' declares the LORD. 'But to
this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit,
and who trembles at My word.'" (Isa 66:1-2
NASB)
The following Prayer Alert
is probably one of the most important ones that we have ever written.
We urge you to seriously take this word to heart and bring it
before the Lord in prayer. God is about to do a new thing in the
earth. " It is time for You to act, O LORD, For they have
regarded Your law as void." (Ps 119:126 NKJV)
The Scripture mentions two
different kinds of return of the Jewish people back to their land.
The first one is found in for example Ezekiel 36 and many similar
passages, where the Almighty promises to bring His people back
from the four corners of the earth for his Name's sake. Once back
in the Land, He will pour clean water on them and restore them
to Himself.
The other type of return of
the Jewish people is mentioned in Deuteronomy 30. This Aliyah
begins with the Jewish people's return first to the Lord, and
then they will return to their land. This promised exodus (return
from the nations) has received much less attention than the first,
probably because we have not seen it fulfilled yet. But we believe
that we are about to witness this exodus very soon. Listen to
what the Lord clearly promises in His word.
"When all these blessings
and curses I have set before you come upon you and you take them
to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations,
and when you and your children return to the LORD your
God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according
to everything I command you today, then the LORD your
God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and
gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.
Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under
the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and
bring you back. He will bring you to the land that belonged
to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make
you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers."
(Deu 30:1-5)
This Aliyah mentioned by Moses,
requires that the Jewish people first return to the Lord to obey
Him with all their heart and with all their soul according to
everything He has commanded them in the Law of
Moses. One of the most important commands in the Torah is Deuteronomy
18:15 quoted by the Apostle Peter in Acts 3:22-23.
"For Moses said, 'The Lord
your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your
own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.
Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from
among his people.'"
This command in the Torah
is referring to believing in and following Yeshua, the promised
Messiah that God has appointed. It is commandment number 516 out
of the 613 in the Torah. You cannot keep the Law without believing
in Yeshua!
The prophecy by Moses in Deuteronomy
30 declares that in the last days there will once again arise
a Messianic movement like unto the one in the first century described
in Acts 21:20, "You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews
have believed, and all of them are zealous for the law."
It will be a Messianic movement where the Jewish people will be
very zealous to obey everything commanded by Moses including believing
in Yeshua as their Messiah.
This Messianic movement will
be more than "church with a kipa on," or Christianity with Jewish
traditions. A much more radical Messianic movement is about to
arise like unto the one in the first century. It will be characterized
by faith in Yeshua, including careful obedience to everything
commanded by Moses. Rather than just reading Moses from a Torah
scroll on Shabbat as a Jewish custom (which certainly is proper),
these Messianic Jews will zealously study the
Torah, including the New Covenant, in order to carefully obey
everything that is written. God will raise up new Ezras to lead
the way just like He did at the exodus from Babel.
This Messianic movement will
be mightily blessed by the Lord with anointing and power, and
rather than seeking the approval of the church,
it will carry the authority from heaven to profoundly change
the church. This end time restoration is described in the prophetic
word in Zechariah chapter 8. The chapter begins by declaring about
Jerusalem,
"Again the word of the
LORD Almighty came to me. This is what the LORD Almighty says:
'I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.'
This is what the LORD says: 'I will return to Zion and dwell in
Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and
the mountain of the LORD Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.'"
(Zec 8:1-3)
The last verse says, "This
is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In those days ten men
from all languages and nations will take firm hold of
one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with you, because
we have heard that God is with you.' '"
(Zec 8:23)
The hem of the robe mentioned
here is referring to the tassels, or tzitzit in Hebrew, that God
commanded every Israelite to wear in order to remember all the
commandments of Moses.
"The LORD said to Moses, 'Speak
to the Israelites and say to them: 'Throughout the generations
to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments,
with a blue cord on each tassel. You will have these tassels to
look at and so you will remember all the commands of the
LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by
going after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. Then
you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated
to your God. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt
to be your God. I am the LORD your God.' '" (Numbers 15:37-41)
It was these tassels on the
garment of Jesus, which healed the woman with the issue of blood.
"Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve
years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She
said to herself, 'If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.'"
(Mt 9:20-21) (It was actually also Paul's prayer shawls and garments
with tassels on, which healed and delivered the people in Ephesus
as described in Acts 19:11-12. Paul was not a maker of ordinary
tents, but of prayer shawls.)
In the last days it says that
Gentiles will take firmhold of him who is a Jew
(a completed, born again Jew) by his tassels, representing the
commandments, and say, "Let us go with you!" This speaks about
Gentiles in the last days beginning to walk or live like Messianic
Jews who obey the Torah. The deep-seated, anti-Semitic prejudice
and rejection of Moses in the church will be removed by a mighty
move of the Spirit of God, where Messianic Jews will take the
lead.
There will always remain a
distinction between Jews and Gentiles in the body of Messiah.
But Gentiles will also follow after the Law of Moses as we see
in Isaiah 2:3,
"Many peoples will come
and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the
house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that
we may walk in his paths.' The law will go out
from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."
In the last days the Law will
not stay in Zion, but go outto the nations from
Zion! Notice that it says, "He will teach us his ways,
so that we maywalk in his paths."
To the Greek, religion is primarily in the mind, in how you think.
To the Hebrew, religion is primarily concerned with your walk,
in other words with how you live. This is also the Biblical perspective.
Yeshua said that the outsiders are supposed to see the lives we
live and believe. "In the same way, let your
light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds
and praise your Father in heaven." (Mt 5:16)
When Jude writes about contending
for the faith that has once for all been entrusted to the saints,
he does not mention any of the basic Christian doctrines like
the Trinity or the deity of Yeshua. He writes to warn against
sexual immorality and rebellion. When Paul writes about sound
doctrine, he writes about how to govern your family and live a
moral upright life free from drunkenness, greed and so on. How
you live is the Biblical perspective on sound doctrine rather
than what you think!
Notice the contrast with for
example the Athanasian Church Creed that the church produced after
centuries of Gentile theological debate, deciding who will go
to heaven and hell. It begins,
"Whoever wants to be saved
should above all cling to the catholic faith. Whoever does not
guard it whole and inviolable will doubtless perish eternally.
Now this is the catholic faith: We worship one God in trinity
and the Trinity in unity, neither confusing the persons nor dividing
the divine being."
After a long, detailed and
complicated explanation it says, "Whoever wants to be saved should
think thus about the Trinity." And further, "One cannot be saved
without believing this firmly and faithfully." This is a "Toraless,"
unscriptural religion of the mind with no connection whatsoever
to a person's moral behavior. The Bibles is not about mental gymnastics,
but about life. It is not a Greek, Gentile book, but a Hebrew,
Jewish book. "What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew,
or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First
of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God."
(Rom 3:1-2)
Especially the Western church
has come to a crossroad today. According to a recent poll by Newsweek
78% of the population in the United States today believe that
Jesus rose from the dead. From other polls we know that there
is no longer any difference in the moral lifestyle of someone
who regularly attends church and those who don't. The Western
church has become a religion of the mind, where most Christians
including Charismatics and Messianic Jews continue to live basically
like the unbelievers. You might be Jewish, speak Hebrew and even
live in Israel, but if you slander your brother, walk in competition
and control, or watch immoral movies, you are walking in lawlessness
and sin.
But something new is beginning
to arise. It is a Messianic movement pointing the way to Zion,
from where the law and the word of God will go forth in the last
days. Many Gentiles will join these Messianic Jews. In an immoral
society falling apart by lawlessness, God is raising up His standard
of holiness from His Word. For centuries missionaries went out
from Europe with the Gospel bringing the Christian European culture
with them, but this light is slowly going out. Friends, the final
culture will be the Biblical culture going forth from Zion as
described in God's Torah and explained by King Yeshua. This is
how man is supposed to live. It is God's standard of righteousness
and holiness and the lifestyle of the Kingdom.
There is a growing hunger
and thirst today among the nations to know the ways and teachings
of God described in His Torah as it is written, ".the
coastlands will wait expectantly for His law." (Isa 42:4)
It is the wedding garments of the Bride of Messiah that are being
prepared!
"'Let us rejoice and be
glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has
come, and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.' (Fine
linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)"
( Revelation 19:7-8)
The Torah is certainly not
just for the Jews. It is God's eternal word and teaching to every
one who believes in Him and loves Him. The overcomers in the Book
of Revelation are described again and again as those who
keep God's Word or commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Please note the combination, there must be both. But be prepared!
It is also this combination that will release the most severe
persecution ever in history against the true Bride. (See Revelation
1:9; 6:9; 12:17; 14:12; 20:4!)
In Revelation 22:14-15 we
read,
"Blessed are those
who do His commandments, that they may have the right
to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the
city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral
and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a
lie." (NKJV)
Never forget that the new
covenant in the blood of Yeshua does not give us the license and
freedom to sin, but the grace to keep God's commandments. It is
the writing of God's laws on our minds and hearts. God found fault
with the old covenant, not because of the law but
because of the people, and promised a new covenant where we receive
the power to also keep the covenant. Freedom is not to do what
you want, but the power to do what is right!
In preparation for the return
of the Lord, God will bring Messianic Jews who are careful to
follow what has been written by Moses, as well as the New Covenant,
back to the land of their fathers as promised in Deuteronomy 30.
They will confess with Paul, who said:
" I worship the God of my
fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and
in the Prophets." (Acts 24:14) In the Land the Lord will bless
them abundantly and no one will make them afraid. Obeying Moses
including following the Messiah God has appointed, will be the
key to truly possessing the Land!
"If my people would but
listen to me, if Israel would follow my ways, how quickly would
I subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes! Those
who hate the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment
would last forever." (Ps 81:14-15)
"Three times a year all
your men are to appear before the Sovereign LORD, the God of Israel.
I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory,
and no one will covet your land when you go up three times
each year to appear before the LORD your God." (Ex
34:23-24)
Last year the real Pool of
Siloam was discovered in the City of David in Jerusalem. Siloam
comes from the Hebrew word for apostle. We wrote that this is
prophetic and that a new Jewish, apostolic movement is now arising
that will heal the blindness of God's people. It will be a restoration
of the original Gospel.
"Then Jesus came to them
and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given
to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age.'" (Mt 28:18-20)
Jesus was very specific that
His movement to disciple the nations had to be rooted in Jerusalem
just like it will be in the last days. ".repentance and forgiveness
of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning
at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. .but
stay in the city until you have been clothed
with power from on high. " (Lk 24:47-49) As long as the Gospel
was centered in Jerusalem it had the power to disciple the nations.
Even Paul had to submit to this divine order (see Gal 2:1-10).
Habackuk 2:6 tells us that God's ways are eternal. Jerusalem will
in the end times be the City of Truth once again.
The church today has lost
its power to disciple the nations. We preach a Gospel void of
discipleship. It is rather the world that through media increasingly
is influencing the lifestyle in the church. God is about to reverse
this order. Paul prophesied long ago that if the rejection of
the Jewish people meant the reconciliation of the world, their
acceptance will be life from the dead. It is the Torah
practiced in the new covenant power of the Holy Spirit that will
bring this life to the world!
We will soon see believing
Jews like the first Jewish believers in Jerusalem who carefully
followed the Torah and boldly confessed Yeshua, return to
Israel. Rest assured, God will make a way in fulfillment
of the prophecy in Deuteronomy 30. It is part of the restoration of
all things that will precede the coming of the Lord.
We must pray for this Aliyah
now. We ask all of you to beseech heaven with prayer and fasting for
this final exodus just like Daniel did when he discovered that
the time had come for the exodus from Babel.
"
In the first year of Darius son of Ahasuerus (a Mede by descent),
who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom- in the first year
of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according
to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the
desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned
to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in
fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes." (Dan 9:1-3)
".to this one I will look,
to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles
at My word." (Isa 66:2)
" These are the words
of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What
he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I
know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that
no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you
have kept my word and have not denied my name."
(Rev 3:7-8)
-
Pray for the Messianic "Ezras" that are now being prepared by
God in the Diasporah as leaders in this mighty Exodus!
". this Ezra came up from
Babylon. He was a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses, which
the LORD, the God of Israel, had given. The king had granted him
everything he asked, for the hand of the LORD his God was on him.
.For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the
Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel."
(Ez 7:6,10)
-
Pray for God's favor and open doors by His mighty hand for these
Messianic believers to begin to return to Israel!
- Pray for purity of heart, miraculous angelic protect
ion and financial provision!
- Pray for the full restoration of the church
back to its Hebrew, Biblical foundation, to become the Bride of
Messiah before He comes.
God bless you as watchmen
on the walls of Jerusalem!
